"Dog Watch" Analog Clock Design
The brief for this project was to choose a profession and create an analog clock that represents the profession and would be useful for them. I chose the profession of a "sailor." I called this design, "dog watch," because the main concept behind the design surrounds the way sailors tell time. It refers to the nautical clock and a specific time of day that is called dog watch.
This analog clock design focusses on the idea that the language of these bells that sailors use to tell time and communicate is completely universal.
