Illustrative Activism T-Shirt & Sticker Designs
This project was to create a set of designs for t-shirts and stickers based off of a chosen topic. One set of designs needed to focus on the positive side of the topic and the other set needed to focus on a negative view of it. The topic that I chose was alcoholism//addiction, which stemmed from a previous project I did ("Stigmas of Alcoholism Illustration" on my profile.)
Positive Designs
The idea for this part of the project was to focus on the healing of alcoholism and the self-love that is needed to overcome it. This was the best solution because many aspects of alcoholism are of course, not positive ones.

Negative Designs
The idea for the negative designs for this project played off the the symbolism of the heart. This t-shirt design is a heart made out of cracked alcohol bottles, referring to the damage done on the emotional body of an alcoholic and the people around them.
